Budgets

Financial planning built around accounting periods: bill tracking, payment splits, and shared responsibility for the money that touches more than one person.

Every period opens on the numbers that matter: total budgeted, total paid, what's left, and what's due next. A tree sidebar carries you between personal and shared budgets, and through monthly, quarterly, and annual periods, without losing your place.

Open a bill and you get everything: payee details, category tags, who owes which share, and an inline toggle for marking it paid. Recurring or one-off, it is the same drawer. Attach Markdown notes to a period itself to keep the story behind the numbers alongside the numbers.

Shared budgets carry a People tab showing who is contributing what, with live cursors so you can see who else is in there with you.
