Your account and workspace content are stored with Google Cloud (Firebase). The main database is in a United States multi-region location, and parts of Hollow run in London and the United States.
A request to Hollow AI goes to the provider that runs the model you chose, and may be processed in any region where that provider runs it, including the United States and the European Union. The providers are named on the privacy policy.
Hollow does not train models on your content. AI providers handle requests under their business terms, which do not allow training on those requests. The privacy policy explains processing and retention.
You can protect your account with a time-based one-time code (TOTP) from an authenticator app, set up in your account security settings.
Access is denied unless a rule allows it. The database and storage rules start closed and open only for the data you own or that is shared with you.
Shared data is checked against ownership and membership before access is granted.
Firebase App Check helps protect requests made by Hollow apps. Public API clients authenticate separately with API keys.
Administrator actions on accounts are recorded internally with the administrator and a reason. This is an internal record of staff changes, not a user-facing activity log.
You can request an export of your data from your account settings, and download it when it is ready.
You can delete your account and its data from your account settings.
