Every change to what Hollow’s plans include is listed here, newest first. We give at least 30 days’ notice by email before reducing an allowance on your plan, and increases can apply straight away. Current allowances are on the pricing page.
Plans launch: Seed, Sapling, Tree and Canopy

- Hollow opens to everyone with four plans for individuals and Hollow Business for organisations.
- Accounts from the invite-only period move to Seed, after 30 days of notice, with one banked reset for their first paid month.
- AI usage is measured in a 5-hour session and a weekly allowance on each plan, shown on the Usage page.
- Prepaid top-ups (£5, £15 and £50, valid for 12 months) are available on Sapling, Tree and Canopy.
- Hollow Mail is a Preview and is not part of the plan comparison.
- Hollow Maps: saved places and lists are fair use on every plan, with 1 shared map space on Seed, 3 on Sapling, 10 on Tree and 50 on Canopy, and up to 2, 4, 8 and 25 members in each.
HD screen sharing in Yap calls
Announced 13 October 2026. Effective 13 October 2026. Catalogue version 2026-10-13.1.
- Tree and Canopy can share a screen in Yap calls at up to 1440p: 1 hour a month on Tree and 12 hours on Canopy, per person, counted while sharing or watching an HD screen.
- After that, and on Seed and Sapling, screen sharing carries on at 720p as before. HD time is also part of the video allowance.
Hollow Tasks: Spaces replace boards
Announced 19 October 2026. Effective 19 October 2026. Catalogue version 2026-10-18.1.
- Shared boards in Hollow Tasks became Spaces, and their limits moved with them unchanged: 3 Spaces on Seed, 10 on Sapling, 50 on Tree and 200 on Canopy, with up to 2, 5, 25 and 50 members in each.
